January 1st, 2011

Obamacare gives seniors a 50% discount on brand name prescription drugs and 14% off generic brands, saving $1.5 billion in prescription drugs for those enrolled in Medicare Part D through 2011.

June 28th, 2012

The Supreme Court upholds Affordable Care Act (Obamacare), despite 26 states suing because the individual mandate was arguably "unconstitutional".

July 12, 2012

GOP-led House of Representatives votes for the 33rd time to repeal Obamacare. Public opinion of the law is split 47-47.

October 4th, 2012

In the Denver presidential debate, President Obama calls out the hypocrisy of Obamacare opponent Mitt Romney, who helped form a universal healthcare plan similar to the Affordable Care Act dubbed "Romneycare" in Massachusetts as governor in 2006 but denounced Obamacare in his presidential run.

January 1st, 2013
